The MASW-011098 is a high power SPDT PIN switch that operates from 26 to 40 GHz. The switch can handle up to 7 watts of power while maintaining low insertion loss and high isolation.  Its frequency range makes it ideal for 5G Applications in the 28 GHz, 37 GHz and 39 GHz bands.

The MASW-011098 leverages MACOM&rsquos patented AlGaAs technology process to ensure superior mmWave switch performance, maintaining low insertion loss and high isolation while enabling higher power-per-element ratios for 5G demonstration systems. Low insertion loss reduces the power requirement from the power amplifier (PA), alleviating thermal challenges and extending the link range while simultaneously enabling improved receiver sensitivity. The switch also provides flexible biasing options to ensure greater overall ease of use.

It is available in a SMT 5 x 5 mm laminate package.
