Interlligent UK to Conduct 80 hour Training Program on RF & Microwave Hardware & Measurement Setups

Interlligent UK, a leading RF specialist providing advanced technical services and solutions for the RF, microwave, and wireless communications industries, is conducting a comprehensive 80-hour (live, online) training programme named “RF & Microwave Engineering 101”. The training program is for electronic engineers who would like to expand their knowledge in RF & Microwave hardware and measurement setups. The course starts on 29 April, 2026 and will be completed over a period of 20 sessions.

Interlligent’s comprehensive 80-hour, live online RF & Microwave training program aims at expanding the knowledge of electronic engineers in the fields of RF and Microwave hardware and measurement setups. Topics covered in the course include: noise budget; non-linearity; impedance matching; s-parameters; filters; basic RF “building block” components; receiver and transmitter architectures; PLL synthesizers; phase noise analysis, digital modulation schemes, antennas, and link budget. Emphasis is given to practical RF and Microwave test and measurement setups.

Course length and structure: The live RF & Microwave Engineering Course consists of 80 study hours held over 20 weekly meetings. Each weekly training session will be on a Wednesday, for 4 hours, beginning at 14:00 UK time and ending at 18:00 UK time.

Course dates: Course opens 29 April 2026. Click here to register for the course.

Pricing: GBP 2,500. Group discounts available on request.

Training format: The training will be live presentations via zoom allowing students to interact with the lecturer for questions and discussions.

The training combines theoretical studies with practical examples from the industry that clearly demonstrate the studied subjects.

Attendees will receive certified electronic copies of the original training materials, which include: theoretical background materials (whitepapers), homework assignments with their explained solutions, and copies of the presentations.

Target Audience:

Electronic engineers who wish to gain RF expertise, and in particular

  • Engineers who are newcomers to the RF and microwave industry.
  • DSP / Algo Engineers who would like to expand their knowledge in the PHY world of radio systems.
  • Experienced microwave engineers who would like to refresh/update their knowledge

As the course is for electronic engineers, it is expected that attendees have basic familiarity with Fourier transforms, Laplace transforms, random processes, and basic circuit theory. However, even if an attendee does not have any prior knowledge, the key concepts taught in the training will also include theoretical background materials covering the required background.

Presenter:

Oren Hagai, CEO of Interlligent RF & Microwave Solutions, Interlligent UK Ltd, and TLV Millimetric Waves. He has over 20+ years of design and training experience in the fields of RF & Microwaves, and is well known for his expertise in the field.
