The CQM211 from Cavli Wireless is a 5G NR-Advanced Sub-6 GHz Module with support for LTE Cat-16 fallback. It is designed for high-bandwidth applications requiring fast connectivity. This 5G NR module consists of a Quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor and memory (1 GB RAM and 512 MB ROM). It also includes support for GNSS connectivity in the L1 and L5 bands, providing high-precision location tracking. This 3GPP Release 16-compliant module delivers a data rate of 2.4 Gbps (downlink) & 900 Mbps (uplink) in the 5G SA mode, and 3.4 Gbps (downlink) & 550 Mbps (uplink) in the 5G NSA mode.
The CQM211 can be interfaced seamlessly with Cavli’s Hubble ecosystem, unifying modem management for consistent connectivity control and efficient cloud-to-cloud data routing. This 5G NR module runs on OpenWrt, an embedded Linux-based OS, and also offers SDK support, enabling customers to incorporate application-specific programming logic into their solutions. It can be controlled remotely using USB, PCIe (Gen3), I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces. This wireless module requires a DC supply and is available either in an LGA FF package measuring 44.00 x 41.00 x 2.75 mm or M.2 package. It is ideal for IoT, automotive logistics, industry 4.0, security, and energy utility applications.
