The LCC40 from LTSCT is an LTE Cat1.bis Module that operates in the LTE FDD (Bands 1/3/5/8) and TDD (Bands 40/41) frequency bands. It offers an ideal LTE upgrade for transitioning from legacy 2G/3G networks to efficient, future-ready IoT solutions. This module consists of a 204 MHz ARM Cortex-M3 processor with built-in memories and serial interfaces. It also incorporates GNSS capability for precise location tracking. This module complies with the 3GPP Release 14 standard and delivers a data rate of 5 Mbps (UL) & 10 Mbps (DL).
The LCC40 offers USIM support with DSDS and DSSS algorithms for high signal quality. This wireless module has several embedded protocols such as TCP, UDP, TLS, HTTP(S), and FTP(S) for network management. It allows for direct firmware over-the-air (DFOTA) upgrades. This module can be controlled remotely using multiple interfaces, including USB 2.0/BOOT, ADC, UART, SPI, and I2S. It uses PSM, DRX, and eDRX modes for power-efficient operation. This LTE Cat1.bis module is available in an LGA package that measures 17.7 x 15.8 x 2.3 mm. It is ideal for use in M2M and IoT applications (e.g. smart energy meters).
