The SKY85355-11 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module which is designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) applications and operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. It integrates a non-linear, high-performance 2.4 GHz PA and LNA with bypass mode, T/R switch, logarithmic power detector, and a coupler. This module provides a receive gain of 16 dB, AM/AM distortion of 1 dB, and AM/PM distortion of 3 degrees. It has LNA and PA disable functions to ensure low leakage current in the Off mode, and its integrated logarithmic power detector provides closed-loop power control within the system.
The SKY85355-11 is available in an MCM package that measures 3 x 5 mm. It is ideal for wireless routers, access points, home gateways, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), mesh/whole-home Wi-Fi® systems, and Wi-Fi-based home entertainment systems applications.
