The XtremeSpeed™ RO1200™ of woven glass PTFE laminates combine the rigidity of glass reinforcement with a surface smoothness similar to a nonwoven PTFE laminate for finer line etching tolerances. These materials can be fabricated into printed circuit boards using standard PTFE circuit board processing techniques. The RO1200 Laminates give system designers the flexibility to design leading-edge systems that maximize data throughput and minimize latency in a performance demanding applications. This laminate has a low dielectric constant of 3.05, and a max dissipation factor of 0.0017 at 10GHz. It provides outstanding signal integrity, reduced signal skew, and reduced cross-talk. Combined with superior thermal/mechanical performance, low CTE, and a halogen-free UL 94 V-0 rating, RO1200 laminates are well suited for demanding high layer count applications.
