The RIU256K0-40TG from RFHIC Corporation is a GaN Solid-State Microwave Generator that operates from 2400 to 2500 MHz. It has been designed for use in industrial microwave drying, heating, and plasma-generating applications and is built using GaN-on-SiC HEMT Transistors. This generator provides an adjustable output power from 300 W to 6 kW (CW/Pulse) with a step size of 100 W and an efficiency of less than 58%. It comes equipped with a solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) head, a power supply unit, a DC cable and a window-based GUI . 

The RIU256K0-40TG also offers excellent thermal stability and ruggedness. This microwave generator can be controlled through a Windows-based GUI using built-in Ethernet and USB interfaces. The SSPA requires a DC supply of 50 V while the generator requires an AC supply of 360 to 480 V. This RoHS-compliant generator is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 432 x 722 x 238 mm and has a WR340 waveguide interface at the output port.
