The AMP2085-3 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 8 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 25 W, a pulse output power of more than 20 W, and provides a gain of 43 dB. The amplifier system is based on a class A/AB linear design and has excellent gain flatness compared to aging TWT-based amplifiers. It has built-in protection circuits and can also perform extensive monitoring of forward/reflected power (dBm/W), VSWR as well as sense voltage/current/temperature fluctuations.
The AMP2085-3 has an LCD display, RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/48 & USB interfaces. It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 5.25 x 19.00 x 22.00 inches with N-Type (female) connectors. The amplifier has built-in speed adjustable fan cooling and can operate at ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 ºC. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse and all communication applications.
The amplifier requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes under 250 W of power.
