The LNF-LNC6_9SB from Low Noise Factory (LNF) is a Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 6 to 9 GHz. It provides a gain of 42 dB with a noise figure of 0.02 dB and a noise temperature of 1.6 K. This LNA is manufactured using LNF’s proprietary INP HEMT technology. It is not hermetically sealed and therefore, the amplifier must be operated in a vacuum environment when the temperature reaches below the dew point. This cryogenic amplifier requires a DC supply of 0.7 V and consumes 15 mA of current. It is available in a gold-plated aluminum module that measures 13.980 x 13.700 x 3.556 mm and has G3PO connectors.
