The QPA9121 from Qorvo is a driver amplifier that operates from 2.3 to 5 GHz and is designed for use in Tx-path DPD loops for m-MIMO systems. It delivers an output power of 27 dBm (~0.5 W) at 3 dB gain compression with a gain of 28 dB and a noise figure of 5 dB. This driver amplifier is fabricated using Qorvo’s GaAs HBT process, is internally matched to 50 Ohms, and includes a DC power shutdown feature via the VPD pin. 

The QPA9121 requires a DC supply of +5 V and consumes less than 130 mA of current. It is available in a 16-pin SMT package measuring 3 x 3 mm. This amplifier is ideal for 5G m-MIMO, mobile infrastructure, general-purpose wireless, and TDD/FDD system applications.
