e-Vibe Image

The e-Vibe from Mtron are Electronically-Compensated Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXOs) that operate at 10/100/166.667 MHz. These OCXOs are designed to maintain excellent phase noise under dynamic conditions, thereby meeting the rigorous demands of radars on the move or experiencing shock or vibration. They can replace bulkier mechanically vibration-compensated products and improve system performance, while reducing the overall size. These OCXOs consist of an SC-cut Quartz resonator and an electronic vibration compensation mechanism. They have a frequency stability of ±200 ppb versus an operating temperature range from -45°C to +85°C and a g-sensitivity of 0.02 ppb/g.

The e-Vibe OCXOs are available as modules that measure 2.0 x 1.5 x 0.8 inches and have RF connectors. These oscillators are ideal for use in modern radar applications with stringent timing requirements.
