MM5230 Image

The MM5230 from Menlo Micro is an SP4T Micro-mechanical Switch that operates from DC to 26 GHz. This 4 channel switch provides an isolation of up to 42 dB and an insertion loss of less than 1.4 dB. It can handle a CW input power of up to 25 W, and pulsed power of 150 W with a return loss of less than 20 dB. This high-power switch has a switching time of 8.5 μs (on) & 2.5 μs (off) with harmonic levels of better than -120 dBc.

The MM5230 is based on Menlo Micro’s Ideal Switch® fabrication process can operate for more than 3 billion switching cycles. It requires a DC supply of 89 V and is available in a BGA package that measures 2.5 x 2.5 mm. This switch is ideal for defense & aerospace, medical equipment, test & measurement, and wireless infrastructure applications.
