TagoreTech
TagoreTech, a specialist in Gallium Nitride-on-Silicon (GaN-on-Si) solutions for RF applications, presented its TSX221K GaN SPDT Switch that operates from 0.5 to 12 GHz. Unlike SOI switches, it does not exhibit abrupt voltage breakdown and does not require a negative supply voltage. This high-linearity switch operates over a 2.6 to 5.25 V supply and consumes less than 1 mW of power. It is ideal for use in X-band/C-band radars, datalinks, cellular infrastructure, and satellite terminals.
TMYTEK
TMYTEK showcased its latest 5G/6G testbeds, radar, and SATCOM innovations, designed to support applications ranging from research and prototyping to real-world deployment. The company’s 5G/6G OTA testbed enables true mmWave radio transmission, supporting FR2 up to 44 GHz and FR3 up to 30 GHz, while the scalable MIMO testbed features multiple 8×8 dual-polarized phased arrays, enabling SISO, 2×2, and 4×4 MIMO configurations with sub-microsecond (<1 µs) beam switching.
TMYTEK also presented a tileable reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) for improving non-line-of-sight (NLOS) coverage, available in 3.5, 4.7, and 28 GHz multi-band models. In addition, the company demonstrated its Ku/Ka-band Flat SATCOM antenna, which combines ESA and waveguide array technologies for multi-orbit (LEO/MEO/GEO), multi-band, and defense-grade satellite communication applications.
Trans-Tech
Trans-Tech, is a pioneer in the ceramics manufacturing industry. At the event they were showcasing their line of ceramic filters. One interesting product was the TT49764E-TR Ceramic Bandpass Filter with a center frequency of 4700 MHz and a bandwidth of 600 MHz. It can handle a CW input power of 10 W, has an insertion loss of less than 2.1 dB, and provides an out-of-band rejection of up to 40 dBc. This filter is available in an SMT package and is ideal for use in portable transceivers for both military and homeland security radio communications and C-band applications.
