SaBLE-x is the first Bluetooth Smart module that is based on the SimpleLink™ Bluetooth Smart CC2640 wireless microcontroller (MCU) from Texas Instruments (TI). This low power module has excellent power performance, drawing nearly two-thirds less average power for a one-second Bluetooth connection interval when compared to previous Bluetooth Smart modules. It provides an output power of 5 dBm and has a receive sensitivity of -96 dBm. It can be used in consumer electronics, mobile phone accessories, sports & fitness equipment and HID applications.
