The WFI32E01PC from Microchip Technology is a 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Module with a hardware based security accelerator. It has been developed for Industrial IoT applications. The module contains the PIC32MZW1 series Wi-Fi SoC, which is a 200MHz high performance MCU with industrial leading Wi-Fi connectivity and rich peripheral options. PIC32MZW1 has 1MB embedded flash and 256KB SRAM, empowering embedded designers to rapidly build complex IoT software covering WLAN, TCP/IP stack, RTOS, Cloud connectivity, and application. It requires a DC voltage from 3-3.6 V and supports ADC, CAN, UART, USB, SQI, JTAG, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, SPI, and I2C interfaces. This Wi-Fi module is available in a 54-pin SMD package that measures 24.5 x 20.5 x 2.5 mm with the PCB antenna. 

The WFI32E01PC module has the a PCB antenna and Trust&GO hardware secure element, which is pre-provisioned to popular cloud platforms. Microchip provides a total of 4 module variants under the same product family, with different antenna options/connection interfaces. The module is fully certified with the following world regulatory agencies: Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Industry Canada (IC), and European Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
