The PAN B511-1C from Panasonic is a Bluetooth 6 & 802.15.4 Module that operates at 2.4 GHz. This module is based on the Nordic nRF54L15 single-chip controller and has a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, 1.5 MB NVM & 256 KB RAM. It has a cryptographic accelerator with side-channel leakage protection & tamper detectors and supports secure boot, secure firmware update & secure storage. This Bluetooth module also integrates an on-borad chip antenna, additional slow clock crystal for energy-efficient battery-powered operation, and an additional 4 MB Flash Memory for more complex applications.
The PAN B511-1C delivers a Tx output power of up to 8 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -98 dBm (at 1 Mb/s) and -106 dBm (at 125 kb/s in LE-mode - long range). This combo module requires a DC supply of 1.7 to 3.6 V and has ultra-low current consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. It can be controlled via GPIOs, High-speed SPI/UART, SPI, UART, TWI, PDM, I2S, PWM, QDEC, and ADC interfaces. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 10.35 x 9.8 x 1.9 mm and has an integrated chip antenna.
