The BL54L10 Series from Ezurio are Multiprotocol Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) + 802.15.4 + NFC Combo Modules. They are based on Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L10 Silicon SoC, which offers enhanced flexibility, performance, efficiency, and security compared to the nRF52 Series. These wireless modules consist of 1x 128 MHz ARM Cortex M33 application processor and 1x 128 MHz RISC-V co-processor with 1 MB non-volatile memory (NVM) and 192 KB RAM. They also integrate a security module, interfaces, and a PCB trace antenna. These modules support multiple wireless protocols such as BLE, 802.15.4, and NFC (with NFC A-tag implementation) for connectivity. They deliver a Tx power of up to +7 dBm and have a receive sensitivity of -106 dBm.
The BL54L10 Series modules provide various security services such as secure boot, secure firmware update, and secure storage, which ensure protection against cyber and physical attacks as per the PSA level 3 rating. These combo modules support flexible programming using Canvas Software Suite, Nordic nRF Connect SDK, and Zephyr RTOS, and can be controlled through multiple interfaces - UART, SPI, ADC, I2S, WDT, and GPIO. They require a DC supply of 1.7-3.6 V. The modules are available in SMT package measuring 10.0 x 1.6 x 14.0 mm and have an MHF4 connector.
