The WNFQ-293BE(BT) from SparkLAN is a Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth Combo Module that operates from 2.400 to 2.4835 GHz, 5.150 to 5.850 GHz, and 5.925 to 7.125 GHz (ISM Bands). It is a tri-band radio solution designed for high-speed data transmission. This module is based on Qualcomm’s QCC2076 chipset and consists of a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radio with an antenna (main and auxiliary). It supports Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be/ax/ac/a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth (EDR + v2.1/v4.0/v4.1/v4.2/v5.0/v5.1/v5.2/v.3/v5.4) protocols. This combo module supports 2 spatial streams (2Tx and 2 Rx) with MU-MIMO, multi-link operation (MLO) capability, and multiple modulation schemes – OFDM, DSSS, BPSK, and QAM over channel bandwidths of up to 160 MHz. It delivers a Tx output power of +18 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -91 dBm.
The WNFQ-293BE(BT) operates in both STA and soft AP mode and also utilizes dual-band dual concurrent (DBDC) mechanism for high throughput. This wireless module is equipped with WPS2.0, WPA1, WPA2, and WPA3 security schemes to secure communication links. It can be remotely controlled using USB and PCIe interfaces via both x86- and ARM-based platforms. This RoHS-compliant radio requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes less than 802 mA (Tx) & 407 mA (Rx) of current. It is available in a standard M.2 package measuring 30.0 x 22.0 x 3.4 mm and has IPEX MHF4 connectors. This module is ideal for IPC, mini driving recorder, AR/VR terminals, POS machines, robotics, vehicle-mounted front/rear terminal UAVs, and smart city applications.
